The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony of Side 7. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself on the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Before long, events combine to put her in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and engage in underground mobile suit combat competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange abilities and find her place in a world where she dreams of a sky where she can fly freely.
